
(KNOX) – Red River swept Fargo North for a pair of EDC baseball wins Tuesday night.
The Riders scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the fifth in each game to defeat North 9-4 in game one and 4-3 in game two. Red River is now 6-2 in EDC play, now in a virtual tie with West Fargo Sheyenne and Fargo South for second place.
In game two, Zander Waind entered in relief in the third inning, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out eight, to get the win.
Red River plays at Fargo Davies Thursday.
