(KNOX) – The man accused in a deadly Barnes County hit-and-run made his first court appearance. Bail was set at $50,000 for Garrett Kuntz.
The 22-year-old of Mandan is accused of hitting a man who was walking along Interstate 94, west of Valley City, during the early morning hours of Dec. 21st.
The victim has been identified as a 27-year-old Honduras man. His body was found later that day in a ditch.
