Grand Forks County Receives Applicants For Open County Commissioners Seat

(KNOX) – The Grand Forks County Commission has received16 applicants for a vacant seat. Applicants were asked to submit a resume, statement of interest and an explanation of why they would like to be a Grand Forks County Commissioner.

Of the 16 the person who is chosen will serve as an interim commissioner until November 30th.

The seat will on the fall’s election ballot and the person elected to that seat will then take over as commissioner on December 1st and complete the unexpired two-year term.

The seat became open when Cynthia Pic died.

The 16 applicants are:

Ronald Barta.

David Engen.

Stuart Ferry.

Amber Flynn.

Anthony Hodny.

Deb Kolden-Thibert.

Kyle Kosior.

Andrew Krauseneck.

Mike Lee.

Mitch McCoy.

Bob Mullen.

Matt Odermann.

Lori Oppegard:
