Polk County Man Arrested After Dispute

(KNOX) – A 20-year-old Crookston man was arrested after prosecutors said that he threatened to set a woman on fire and physically assaulted her during a domestic dispute.

Facing the charges is Jimmy Gray Jr.  He has been charged with two felony counts, threats of violence and domestic assault, stemming from an incident at a Crookston home. According to a criminal complaint filed in Polk County District Court.

Court documents stated  that during a dispute, Gray Jr. allegedly threatened to pour oil and then gasoline on her. Each charge carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison, a $10,000 fine or both.

Legal records said that Gray Jr. was previously accused of threats of violence in November 2020 and convicted of felony threats of violence in February 2025.
