(KNOX) – Over the weekend Grand Forks Police were dispatched to a reported stabbing that had just occurred in the apartment complex on 4th Avenue South.
Arriving officers located a female victim with stab wounds. She was transported to Altru with non-life-threatening injuries.
Grand Forks police found 42-year-old Fernando Lucio of Grand Forks. He was taken into custody without incident. He was arrested for aggravated assault and terrorizing and was taken to jail.
The Grand Forks Police Department was assisted by the Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office, Grand Forks Fire Department and Altru Ambulance.
