(KNOX) – Altru Health and Common Spirit have started talks for Altru to take over three hospitals.
If it becomes a reality Altru would take over St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, St. Alexius Health Turtle Lake and St. Alexius Garrison.
In January of last year Altru opened its new $500 million hospital in Grand Forks.
The new hospital came with a ranking among the top 250 hospitals in the nation.
