(KNOX) – A Grand Forks teen was sentenced to serve 10 years for the attempted murder of five teens he shot at many times while they were inside a vehicle.
Court records said that Mason Allery, 17, said that he takes responsibility for his actions and knows there’s no excuse for endangering the lives of others.
The crimes happened the night of January 3rd 2025, when two shootings occurred in quick succession on North 42nd Street in Grand Forks.
Allery and a co-defendant were determined to have fired into a vehicle occupied by five individuals hitting two.
The prosecutor in the case said numerous shell casings were found at the scene and at least five were established to have been fired by the handgun Allery had that night.
