(By Mike Moen. Minnesota News Connection) – A leading watchdog group said Gov. Tim Walz ending his reelection bid should not distract from conversations surrounding fraud reform in Minnesota. It hopes changes taking shape are “people-centered” and are free of political motivation.

Annastacia Belladonna-Carrera, executive director of Common Cause Minnesota, said discussions on fraud reform, no matter which elected official or candidate is involved, have to be more than symbolic.

“Minnesotans are getting a bit saturated with the party line narratives and are more hungry for fact-based outcomes,” Belladonna-Carrera observed.
