Central, Sheyenne Battle on EDC Ice Tonight

(KNOX) – First place in the Eastern Dakota Conference is on the line tonight at Purpur Arena, as Grand Forks Central entertains West Fargo Sheyenne.

Sheyenne has had an impressive season, earning five EDC wins, and stands alone in first place with 15 points.

Central enters the game tonight with 11 points in the league, no losses, with an overtime win over Fargo Davies as their only result right of the first column in the standings.  Central cannot catch Sheyenne tonight, but has a game in hand.

Sheyenne’s Bennet Benson is the state’s second-leading scorer entering Tuesday play, with 30 points.  Rylan Spicer leads a balanced Central team with 18 points.

The game will be broadcast on KNOX Radio, and streamed at KNOX Live Sports on the KNOX website and on YouTube.
