(KNOX) – The East Grand Forks Police Department is telling the public of a recent string of check fraud cases.
People have reported that after they mailed check payments for their Discover credit card account, the checks were found altered.
East Grand Forks Police recommend card holders use a different payment method and review their past payments for any fraud.
Report any fraud to your local law enforcement.
