(KNOX) – North Dakota Governor Kelly Armstrong said he is open to allow tribal identification as valid proof of age to buy alcohol.
This comes after a couple was denied service when they tried to use a tribal ID.
The governor said the focus should be on whether an ID accomplishes its intended purpose of verifying age and identity.
