(KNOX) – According to court records a Fargo man waived his preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to methamphetamine and marijuana crimes he was charged with after being pulled over while driving on Highway 2 in Grand Forks County.
Ronald Ellis, 61, is facing the charges. A trooper ran Ellis’ vehicle plate while he was traveling westbound near mile marker 340.
The trooper found out that Ellis had an outstanding warrant from another county and after confirming the driver was the man who had a warrant, the trooper pulled him over.
Ellis admitted everything in the vehicle belonged to him and none of it was his passenger, who had also been searched and law enforcement found had no contraband
