(KNOX) – Tuesday night the Grand Forks Fire Department was dispatched to a commercial structure fire at the vacant Burger King Restaurant on Gateway Drive.
When crews arrived on scene and encountered a fire on the roof of the building.
The fire was quickly extinguished by crews with minimal fire damage or extension into the building.
The Grand Forks Fire Department responded with four engines, one truck, one command vehicle and 14 personnel.
The Grand Forks Fire Department was assisted on scene by the Grand Forks Police Department, XCel Gas and Electric and Altru ambulance.
