YMCA Hosting Food And Essentials Drive Supporting St. Joseph’s Food Pantry

(KNOX) – The Altru Family YMCA is hosting a food and essentials drive to support St. Joseph’s Social Care Food Pantry, starting Monday, November 10th at 5:30 am and ending at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, November 18th.

 Non-perishable, non-expired food items, as well as new, unopened, and unused toiletry items, may be dropped off at the YMCA during operating hours. A list of suggested donations can be found at the YMCA and on their web site and Facebook page. All donations will be delivered to St. Joseph’s Social Care.

 Monetary donations can be taken directly to St. Joseph’s Social Care at 620 8th Avenue South in Grand Forks. 

 The Altru Family YMCA is located at 215 N 7th Street, downtown Grand Forks.

 Suggested food items, no open or expired items please, non-perishable vegetables, boxed meals, peanut butter, jelly, canned fruits, tuna, Ramon, breakfast bars, cereal, pasta sauces, beans (pinto, black, all kinds), shelf stable milk, juices, and more.

 Suggested toiletries, no used or open items please. new soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes deodorant, body wash, lotion, diapers, formula, wipes, baby powder, baby food, paper towels, napkins, dish soap, laundry soap, pet food, and more.
