Two From Devils Lake Facing Multiple Charges

(KNOX) – Two people from Devils Lake are facing felony charges after an incident that involved drug possession and threats against witnesses.

According to court records, Latasha Thompson and Kyle Baker are facing multiple criminal counts, including a felony terrorizing charge for Thompson.

According to the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office they responded to a disturbance call and saw Thompson and Baker walking away from a home when they arrived on scene.

Thompson told police that she was attempting to check on her children. Baker admitted to being intoxicated, according to court documents, and claimed that Thompson was the driver.

He also initially gave law enforcement a false name.

Thompson admitted to driving but said she didn’t have a valid license.
