(KNOX) – Fire destroyed a potato warehouse in Walsh County.
The call came in Wednesday afternoon for the fire in Hoople. The Walsh County Sheriff’s Office said the south wall of the warehouse was engulfed in flames.
The Hoople Fire Chief said that the fire attack had to be placed on hold until power and propane gas service were removed from the building.
Crews from Hoople, Park River, Edinburg and Crystal, Park River Ambulance and the Walsh County Paramedic Team.
The Walsh County Sheriff’s Office said that most of the crews were cleared from the scene by around 6:30 p.m.
