(KNOX) – Court documents said that a Polk County man was sentenced to 180 months for raping a girl on more than one occasion.
Brian Espinoza, 34, of East Grand Forks pleaded guilty in July to two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
A concerned citizen reported Espinoza to law enforcement in January. The girl confirmed to law enforcement that Espinoza had been assaulting her for years. Espinoza was ordered to spend a total of 15 years in custody.
He has credit for 244 days served. After getting out he will be on conditional release for the remainder of his life.
