
(KNOX) – After battling each other Tuesday night, both Red River and Central will head to Fargo Thursday for conference volleyball matches.
The Riders head to Fargo North, while Central plays at Fargo South. Both Fargo opponents are looking for their first conference win of the season. South is 4-5, while North is 3-7 overall. Central is 2-8 overall, while Red River is 6-2.
Red River gained their first conference win of the year Tuesday with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-16) sweep of Central. Karsyn Grube co-paced Red River with 10 kills.
Lizzy Kunz added 10 kills and a pair of aces as a Roughrider co-leader
Central was led by Jacie Reardon with seven kills.
