(KNOX) – The North Dakota Supreme Court heard oral arguments this week in a case involving a Grand Forks man.
Court records said that Travis Bell has been charged with criminal vehicular homicide and criminal vehicular injury for a crash in June of last year that killed six-year-old Katarina Louthain and seriously hurt her mother, Nicole.
Bell rear-ended the Louthains along Highway 2 near the Grand Forks International Airport.
Legal records say his BAC was .130% two hours after the crash. Bell’s trial was scheduled to start last month, it’s on hold while they await a Supreme Court opinion.
The state Supreme Court will decide if his BAC will be allowable in the case.
There is no idea how long the court will take to rule.
