(KNOX) -It’s been another year of chasing one particular team for Red River girls golf.
The Roughriders have been second in five meets this season, with West Fargo Sheyenne finishing in front, including Red River’s home meet at Kings Walk last week.
Red River was 15 shots off the pace, finishing with a team 320 last week. Ella Speidel, last year’s state medalist, led the team with a 72. Alexis Fabian carded a 77.
The Riders play Rose Creek in Fargo Wednesday. Red River did not win a meet last year until the state meet, when they pushed their way to a team title.
