(KNOX) – The City of Grand Forks has named Grand Forks Deputy Fire Chief Charles Marcott as fire chief.
Marcott’s hiring is pending city council approval this afternoon.
Mr. Marcott currently oversees the Public Safety Answering Point as a Deputy Fire Chief for the City of Grand Forks.
Mr. Marcott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Operations Management from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Marcott is expected to take over as the Chief of the Grand Forks Fire Department on Wednesday, September 3rd.
