(KNOX) – It’s not here yet, but the proposed Agistro Plant in Grand Forks could bring about future development.
“Growth and expansion in Grand Forks and the region of $150,000 million at least, for on and off storage of potatoes. Some of that may end up on this site. So there would be some additional value,” Grand Forks City Administrator Todd Feland said.
Feland said that the construction of the planned potato processing facility could bring about nearly 4,900 to the city over three years of building the plant.
He also said that between 59 and 99 students could be added to regional schools.
