The effort would bring back the Grand Forks International Airport into the city. Something it was in the past
It is a process that may have to be looked at for a while.
The fact that the Grand Forks International Airport has lost almost half of its flights over the last ten years is a big reason.
Grand Forks City officials do not think it will happen this year.
The City of Grand Forks is trying to help the airport.
