(KNOX) – After hosting 24 community input meetings across North Dakota and holding dozens of additional stakeholder discussions, the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality (NDDEQ) has developed a draft framework of statewide sustainability strategies.

The public is invited to review and provide feedback on the state’s Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reduction Framework during two virtual forums scheduled for Tuesday, July 8, and Thursday, July 10.

The framework outlines:

  • Current data and future projections for statewide greenhouse gas emissions
  • Practical opportunities to reduce emissions by 2030 and 2050
  • Anticipated benefits for communities across North Dakota

Registration is required to participate in the online forums. To register and select a preferred ZOOM meeting time, visit www.deq.nd.gov/sustainability.

Forum Schedule:

  • Tuesday, July 8, 2025 – 7 to 8 p.m. CDT
  • Thursday, July 10, 2025 – 4 to 5 p.m. CDT
