(KNOX) – The Grand Forks School Board has turned down a complaint filed by the Grand Forks Education Association on behalf of teachers of four schools.

The Grand Forks Education Association union was asking that some teachers get back pay for non- teaching time as an extra job on top of their usual duties.

The board decided that objections must be filed by individual teachers coming forward to their supervisor, not by the union on behalf of all teachers.

According to district documents no sole teacher has come forward and even if they had the board feels that the protest would not have been suitable.
