Road Work in Grand Forks Next Week

(KNOX) –Traffic will be down to one lane in each direction on S. Washington St. at the intersection of 28^th Avenue South starting on June 30th.

Crews will be working on the left turn lanes at the intersection.

From June 30^th to July 6^th, South Washington Street will be down to one lane in each direction and there will be no left hand turns allowed.

28^th Avenue South traffic will only be able to make right hand turns at the intersection.

Through traffic and left hand turns on 28^th Avenue South will be closed.  These closures are to allow crews to work in the middle of the intersection.

After July 6^th, northbound traffic on South Washington Street will be fully open while southbound traffic will be one lane with restricted left turns onto 28^th Avenue South.

The entire project is expected to take one month, weather permitting.
