(KNOX) – Going to the Grand Forks Public Library can help children with reading over the summer.
The summer slump is when a child over the summer stops reading.
Grand Forks Public Library Director Wendy Wendt said that some kids struggle with reading when school starts.
“It’s well known if kids, they get off school and then stop reading and then try to pick up again in September, it’s just a struggle,” Wendt said.
