(KNOX) – Court documents said that a disagreement over money led to a man swinging a box cutter at another man’s neck in Grand Forks.
According to the records, Grand Forks Police were called for a report of a man threatening another with a weapon. When they arrived on scene, they made contact with the victim and the suspect, Hector Sanabria-Gomez.
The victim claimed that he was sitting outside of the building when Sanabria-Gomez approached him and accused him of stealing money, an accusation that the victim denied.
The victim said that Sanabria-Gomez took out a box cutter and swung it at him, nearly cutting his neck. The victim immediately fled inside to report the incident.
Sanabria-Gomez was arrested.
