(KNOX) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol is warning drivers of extreme fines for speeding.
Driving 36-plus mph over the speed limit means a one-week license suspension in North Dakota.
Say if you are doing 109 mph in a 65 mph zone, that offense carries a $190 ticket. Troopers said that 12 points will be added to the driver’s license for such an offense.
Troopers are reminding drivers that North Dakota’s speed zone point system can lead to license suspensions for extreme speeders.
