(KNOX) – AP Business Principles/Personal Finance Presentation. Thursday, June 12 from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM.
It will be held in the Chamber Board Room with virtual option available.
Advanced Placement (AP) course: Business Principles/Personal Finance, developed by the National College Board in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. This innovative course is designed to equip high school students with essential skills in business and personal finance—preparing them for successful careers and building a stronger workforce for tomorrow.
Launching nationally in the 2026–2027 school year, the course uses real-world case studies and hands-on projects to demonstrate the relevance of business in today’s society. Grand Forks was selected as one of only 100 communities nationwide to preview and provide input on this initiative, reinforcing our role as a leader in workforce development and education.
Executive Director of Career Strategy and Employer Partnerships, College Board. Clare brings over 20 years of experience in aligning education with workforce needs. She holds an M.A.Ed. in Education Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania and is a national leader in expanding economic mobility through innovative educational pathways.
