(KNOX) – A Grand Forks man was  hurt after a motorcycle crash.

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety said that Robert Martin, 76,  was northbound on Tomahawk Road in Lake County when he reportedly passed out, fell over and drove into a ditch.

The road was not wet, Martin was wearing a helmet and authorities do not believe that alcohol was the reason he passed out.

He was taken to a Duluth hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
