Most Grand Forks City Offices Closed Memorial Day

(KNOX) – Most city, county and state offices will be closed on Monday, May 26, Memorial Day.  Regular city business will not be conducted that day. 

However, emergency services will continue to operate as scheduled. 

City services such as garbage collection will not take place on Monday.  Residents with regularly scheduled Monday pickup will have their trash collected on Tuesday, May 27, or Wednesday, May 28, along with regularly scheduled routes.

Recycling pickup scheduled for next week will be pushed back one day later than normally scheduled throughout the week, because of the holiday.  For example, Monday’s recycling pickup will take place on Tuesday – Tuesday’s pickup will take place on Wednesday, etc.

The week will end with Friday’s recycling picked up on Saturday.

City Bus, Senior Rider Bus and Dial-A-Ride will not run Memorial Day but will resume regular routes on Tuesday, May 27.

City offices will reopen for regular business on Tuesday, May 27.
