(KNOX) – According to court documents a Grafton teen was drunk when she intentionally hit a girl with her vehicle.
The records said that 18 year-old Vanessa Nielsen is being charged in Grand Forks County Court.
She allegedly had a high blood alcohol content when she hit a juvenile girl with her vehicle and drove away.
The incident was caught on video by a witness.
The documents say the girl survived, but is injured and has a limp.
Nielsen has been charged with aggravated assault, DUI and reckless endangerment.
She is slated to be in court June 16th.
