This comes after the North Dakota Public Employees Retirement System stopped his pension.
Because they said that he cannot collect a county paycheck and a Grand Forks County pension at the same time.
Rost put in 40 years with the Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office.
The North Dakota Public Employees Retirement System will take up the issue when they meet later this month.
