(KNOX) – A major project in Grand Forks will take some money to complete.
Construction work of the 42nd Street underpass comes with an anticipated price tag of nearly 90 million dollars.
An agreement between the state and federal governments as well as the City of Grand Forks has to be worked out.
According to the city they are expecting to pay over $20 million.
Construction on the 42nd Street railroad crossing is slated to start in 2026 and continue until 2028.
