(KNOX) – Court records said that a case against a Minnesota man has been thrown out.

This comes after a judge said that evidence in the Grand Forks County case was received illegally during a traffic pull over.

Jeremy Tostrup, 28, of Viking was charged in February 2024 with having methamphetamine with intent to deliver.

A judge said that the evidence obtained was the result of an extended traffic stop which the judge found to be in violation of Tostrup’s Fourth Amendment right, to no unreasonable search and seizure by the government.
