(KNOX) – According to Grand Forks County, County Jail Administrator Bret Burkholder was fired.
The Grand Forks County Commission last week voted to terminate Burkholder.
This came after a report that he allegedly misused grant funding.
The decision to fire the Grand Forks jail administrator could only come from the Grand Forks County sheriff.
The Grand Forks County Commission’s vote was just a formality.
