Proposed Legislation Could Change Time in North Dakota

(KNOX) – Proposed state legislation that looks to end daylight saving time is being fine-tuned to go into effect if other states follow.

A proposed amendment would turn it into a trigger law for permanent standard time if Minnesota, Montana and South Dakota vote to follow.

Another would allow North Dakota to observe permanent Daylight Saving Time if the United States Government allows it and the three states do the same.
