Fargo Legislative District Names New Representative

(North Dakota Monitor) – The Fargo legislative district that had been served by Rep. Josh Christy has named a replacement.

The Republican Party in District 27 unanimously elected Timothy “TJ” Brown to fill the House seat.

Christy died Feb. 18.

Brown will begin his legislative session in Bismarck on Wednesday. His term ends in 2026.

Brown lives in the Osgood area of south Fargo. He owns The Range, a virtual gun range and training business, and Tea Party Solutions, a firearms training company and podcast.

Brown is an Army veteran and former West Fargo police officer.

Brown said his priorities include anti-abortion policies, supporting the Second Amendment and lowering taxes.
