(KNOX) – As the North Dakota state legislature gets back into session, there is legislation that would benefit the City of Grand Forks.
“House Bill 1020. Is the water resources budget. That bill has funding for Red River Valley Water Supply, municipal water grants,” said John Bernstrom of the City of Grand Forks.
Bernstrom said that they are also following proposed legislation that would provide $5,000,000 for the proposed Children’s Museum in Grand Forks.
They are also keeping an eye on proposed legislation for the North Dakota Department of Transportation.
“Senate Bill 2012 is the DOT budget. We’re tracking that. Various programs in DOT,” Bernstrom said.
