(KNOX) – According to court documents a judge is looking at a motion to have evidence tossed out in a Grand Forks case.
Travis Bell has been charged with criminal vehicular injury and criminal vehicular homicide.
He is facing 20 years in prison if convicted on the most serious charge.
A June crash killed a six-year-old and severely injured her mother.
Court records indicate that the victims were at a traffic single near the Grand Forks International Airport when Bell rear-ended them.
Bell’s attorney is trying to get evidence thrown out ahead of a felony jury trial, deciding if a failed chemical test is allowable.
