(KNOX) – Assistant City Engineer Christian Danielson says you can expect storm sewer work on a Grand Forks street this construction season.
“This project is up in the Highway 81 area where we’ve been working the past couple of years now. This is the storm sewer that’s going to go under 27th Avenue,” says Danielson.
This storm sewer will collect water from the proposed paving project on 27th Avenue North and route it to the recently constructed storm water pond in the development.
This project will be the last one before next year’s paving on 27th Avenue North from Highway 81 to North 32nd Street.
This will cost the City of Grand Forks 80 percent, with 20 percent split-assessed.
The estimated city share of project cost is $3,467,000. The estimated assessment total is $890,500.
