(KNOX) -According to the U.S. Border Patrol in Grand Forks, agents in Pembina responded to an illegal crossing at the North Dakota / Canada border and made arrests on Saturday, February 8.
The U.S. Border Patrol Grand Forks Sector says a Small Unmanned Aerial System from Operation Stonegarden partners allowed agents to quickly locate and apprehend the illegal aliens and seize $16,000 of cash found on one of them.
The U.S. Border Patrol and local law enforcement agencies said that a collaboration is essential to securing the borders and enhancing community safety.
