(KNOX) – With UND’s Hyslop Pool going offline in March, Grand Forks Public Schools wants kids to have a place to swim.
The School Board moved Monday to recommission the Grand Forks Central Pool. The district will first apply with the Department of Public Instruction.
The board moved to spend, from the building fund, $169,550 for a regenerative filter and $10,525 for pool expansion joints.
The plan is to use the Grand Forks Central pool for two or three years, then decommission it once the Altru Sports Complex opens.
