
(KNOX) – There are some things going on at the state capitol that the City of Grand Forks is interested in.
John Bernstrom of the City of Grand Forks says that they are keeping an eye on Bismarck as the legislative session continues.
“On Thursday at 11 a.m. in the House Political Subdivision Committee, its’s House Bill 1537. This bill has to do with water agreements,” Bernstrom says.
The proposed legislation is of particular interest to the City of Grand Forks.
“Based on some of the situations we are in, where you get municipal water running into a water district or a rural district in the agreements that are in place,” Bernstrom says.
The City of Grand Forks says that they keep an eye on Bismarck when the State Legislature is in session.
