Stabbing in Grand Forks Results in Murder Charge

(KNOX) – On Sunday, at approximately 5:36pm, officers of the Grand Forks Police Department were dispatched to the 800 block of Duke Dr. for a reported stabbing.

The initial investigation of the incident revealed that during an argument a 16-year-old male juvenile stabbed his adult aged sister in the stomach.

The female victim was transported to the hospital by a third party with an apparent stab wound. The male juvenile fled the scene on foot but was ultimately located and placed under arrest without incident.

He has been charged with attempted murder. This investigation is still active and on-going at this time.
