(KNOX) – The first feedback gathering open house for Cities Area Transit rate increases was held Monday night in East Grand Forks.
Dave Bergman, CAT director, says the two open houses lead a regional study of rate increases.
“Fargo, Minot, Bismarck and Sioux Falls are all looking at raising their rates. They’re going to take a look at our lead,” Bergman says.
Bergman plans to go to Bismarck Thursday to testify on two bills that could add legislative funds.
The second open house begins at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Council Chambers at Grand Forks City Hall.
