Schedule of Grand Forks City Offices for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

(KNOX) – Most City  of Grand Forks offices will be closed Monday, January 20th for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Regular City business will not be conducted.

However, emergency police, fire and communications services will continue to operate as scheduled.

City services such as garbage collection will not take place on Monday, January 20th. Regular Monday pickup for the “A” route will take place on Tuesday, January 21st, and Monday’s “B” route pickup will be on Wednesday, January 22nd, along with regularly scheduled routes.

Recycling pick-up will take place as scheduled on Monday, January 20th. Please place items near the curb for recycling pick-up by 7:00 a.m.

The Cities Area Transit (CAT), including City Bus, Night Bus, Senior Rider Bus and Dial-A-Ride will remain as scheduled.

The City Council meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 21st at 5:30 p.m. in the Grand Forks Council Chambers.

City offices will re-open for business on Tuesday, January 21st.
