Department of Environmental Quality invites public comment

(KNOX) – The North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Waste Management, is proposing approval of a permit renewal to continue “corrective action” at Grand Forks Air Force Base.

“Corrective action”checks chemical oxidation and groundwater contamination to be sure that “no one gets harmed from what’s in the ground.”

Those wishing to comment or request a hearing on the proposed permit renewal should notify the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality in writing no later that February 20, 2025.  Comments should be sent to:
