
(KNOX) – A North Dakota Highway Patrol Ford Explorer was hit as it was parked on the right shoulder at a crash scene with overhead emergency lights activated at mile marker 342 on eastbound Interstate 94 Saturday evening.
A Toyota Sienna driven by Karen Galuszka, 49, Markham, Ontario, was eastbound and lost control as it approached the crash scene.
The Toyota struck the Ford in the driver’s side rear with its passenger side rear.
The Toyota came to final rest facing southeast on the right shoulder.
The Ford came to final rest facing east on the right shoulder.
The State Trooper was outside the Ford investigating the original crash when it was struck.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash.
